The law requires that companies have First Aid provision that is both adequate and appropriate. This means that all workplaces must have sufficient numbers of trained staff and suitable equipment, in order to administer first aid to those becoming unwell or sustaining an injury at work.
The Regulations refer to employees but you are also recommended to consider customers and visitors to your site. Organisations such as schools, shops, sports centres and care homes, are likely to have lots of visitors on their premises and this may significantly increase the company first aid requirements.
T&G Training are highly experienced in training delivery, we will train your staff in both theory and practice and will ensure your staff are better prepared to deal with any workplace emergency. Every company has different needs; we have successfully trained staff in schools, manufacturing plants, care homes and everything in between. We can adapt an existing course to suit you, or we can develop a new course specifically to meet your company needs.
First aid legislation is changing all the time but we work hard to ensure that all our courses are fully compliant with the latest HSE, RC(UK), ERC and awarding body guidelines. Click the link to go to our first aid awarding body, Qualsafe Awards, for the Resuscitation Guidelines 2015 Guidance.
