First Aid Changes 2013 – Are You Ready?
First Aid changes 2013 – are you ready? The HSE have announced that the proposed changes to first aid provision will now come into effect on 1 October 2013, subject to ministerial approval.
What this means, is that you as an employer will have to source appropriate first aid training and make a judgement as to the quality of the training that you are buying, rather than relying on the HSE badge of approval.
Before you buy First Aid at Work (FAW), check to confirm that your training provider meets the required standard for you as a company. Remember, your industry and your insurers may also require specific levels of training for your staff. It is likely that Training providers accredited by recognised awarding bodies will comply with the new requirements, so ask your chosen provider for this assurance. You may think that the first aid changes 2013 are a long way off but T&G Training are already working to the new standards and we are ready to train your staff right now.
T&G Training are accredited by Highfield (HABC) and Qualsafe Awards who are regulated by Ofqual and this means that you can rely on us for First Aid training that complies with the new legislation.
Of course, you may not require a “certificated course” but want a bespoke first aid course to suite your company needs – just ask, as we are more than happy to design something specifically for you.
